Analyst: iPhone 5 the support LTE sales slowdown

It is reported that on Wednesday, Apple will release the next generation iPhone smartphone, many analysts expect it will include the following improvements: faster LTE network support, a larger 4-inch display, a more powerful processor and re-the appearance of the design.

Some analysts, however, the importance of the next generation iPhone for LTE services questioned because many areas did not deploy LTE networks around the world, while the majority of U.S. smartphone users also do not know what the LTE technology.

Jeff Kagan, an independent analyst, said the wireless industry is very concerned about the LTE technology, but consumers do not know what LTE is, they do not care about. LTE is certainly important, but it is not a smart phone sales will play a significant impact.

Enderle Group analyst Rob Enderle said, due to the LTE network coverage is not very wide, is also true in the United States, but it will also support LTE network to the next generation of the iPhone's negative impact on sales.

Enderle pointed out that once the iPhone 5 supports LTE network, it will be faced with the problem of high pricing and poor network popularization, which will result in the iPhone 5 sales slowed down after the end of the sales season. As a result, support for LTE networks has become the iPhone 5 weaknesses.

Of course, LTE networks will get some of the user's favorite, because it runs faster than widely available 3G CDMA or GSM network is 10 times faster, and allows users to get fast video downloads and web browsing experience.
